Parents of students in Year 2 Kinder - Grade 2 have recently received letters with their child’s Literacy Screening (Acadience) results. Photo Day - how to order

We had an excellent photo day today. All of the students who had their photos taken received a little card with their individual code number on it. The photos will be available within 48 hours. If you place an order within 2 weeks, your photos will be shipped to the school at no cost. After the 2 week deadline you can still place an order, but there will be a cost to ship it to your home address. 

Extracurriculars at Robert Bateman School

On Thursday, October 16, the Junior Cross Country team will take part in the SouthEast Regional Meet. Thank you to the Cross-Country coaching team of Mme Irus, Ms Horning, Ms Petten, and Mme Boudreau for all their hard work over the past few weeks in preparing the team for their meet.

Currently, the Junior Girls Soccer Team and the Junior Boys Soccer Team tryouts are underway. Thank you to Mme Irus and Mme Boudreau for their time.

Soccer is very popular at RBPS, and many students are trying out. Every year, there are many big emotions when the team lists are shared. If your child is considering trying out for a team, please discuss with them that not every student can make the team, and to be prepared for either outcome.

Meet the Families & Staff Evening

We want to invite all of our students and families to our Meet the Families & Staff evening scheduled for Thursday, October 16. From 5:00 - 5:45pm, parents/caregivers are invited to visit their child(ren)'s classrooms and meet the educators.  Our wonderful Parent Council will be hosting a Family Pot-Luck immediately after, from 5:45 - 7:00pm, in the Gym. Many thanks to the Parent Council for organizing!

Lost and Found

Reporting Student Absences/Late Arrivals

Please let us know if your child(ren) will be absent or late by using our automated student absence system called SafeArrival. You can report your student's absence or late arrival by either using the School Messenger App, or by calling 1-833-202-1417. For more information on using this system, please read this document.

Parent Council Message

Hi again Bobcat Parents,

With the school year in full swing Parent Council wanted to share a few quick updates 

There will be a Parent Council hosted Potluck, following the Meet the Families & Staff Night on October 16th! Bring your family's favorite meal with some extra to share and enjoy a meal with old and new friends!

Our next School Council meeting will be Tuesday, October 21st at 6:30pm, join us in the school library or virtually at the link here: zay-cxgm-cif

Mark your calendars, because on November 21st, we will be having a Movie Night at the school. More details on start time and the movie will be out in the coming week. 

Back by popular demand and coming soon ...The Little Caesars Pizza Kit fundraiser is returning!  We will be raising money to support school wish list requests this year. It's a great time for you, your friends and family to stock up with frozen Little Caesars Pizza Kits.  With a variety of pizza, pizza bread and cookies, you'll be sure to find something delicious. Look out for flyers being sent home the week of October 6th!  Ordering will be open until November 2nd with a pick up date of November 21st.
