March 10 marked the beginning of Ramadan for Muslims around the world. Here at RBPS, we are working to ensure that our learning environment is supportive to all students, including those students who will be fasting.

For the week of February 26 - March 1, Robert Bateman will take part in our annual ‘Toonie Tuesday’ fundraiser, in support of the Education Foundation of Ottawa.

On Wednesday, February 14, you will receive an email inviting you to view your child(ren)’s First Term Progress Reports (or Communication of Learning for Kindergarten students).

On Thursday, December 14, the Grade 6 students at RBPS took part in a Leadership Launch Day. As the senior students at Robert Bateman, our Grade 6 students are role models for younger students, and we want to give them the tools to step into this leadership role.

At Robert Bateman PS we are proud to offer a learning community that is welcoming to all of our students. One of the ways we build an inclusive community is through our multi-faith prayer room for Grade 5 and 6 students.

We would like to welcome Ms Suad Hussein and Ms Penelope Sinclair who joined the RBPS team this week as Educational Assistants (EAs).

At the end of next week, all parents will receive an email inviting them to sign up for a parent-teacher interview on either Thursday, November 23 between 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, or on Friday, November 24 between 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM.

On Saturday, November 4, OCDSB parents and caregivers are invited to the OCDSB Family Conference at Brookfield High School, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for the . This year’s theme is Educate, Engage, Empower - Enhancing Learning Together.
